I have had TV for 15mths.Of course TV was out of warranty and I had not purchased an extended warranty. The problem was no picture, so sound.

Repairman first came and went straight to the main panel after removing the back penal. Did not check anything else. TV came on. I asked the repairman if they was a guarantee and he said yes 90 days.

The very next day I turned the TV on it did the very same thing. I called the company that came out to repair it. They told me that I would have to call Sharp. I called Sharp and they said they would send someone out.

The next repairman came and took off the panel turned the TV and claimed that the TV had half a screen and that the TV was defective. The repairman took pictures and said I was have to call Sharp. Now Sharp says that the TV can't be fixed and the best they can do for me is give me a refurbished for $250.00.

I refused and said that I shouldn't have to pay $250 because your company sells defective products. On top of that, you want me to pay for another TV that you have refurbished and originally was sold defective.

Reason of review: Other issue.

Monetary Loss: $800.

Preferred solution: give me a comparable TV that is that is not on a complaint list.

Sharp Cons: Horrible customer service, Product life span, Defective products being solded.
